![]() About UsScott P. Benjamin, Esq. Born in the Bronx, a grandson of immigrants with a close extended family, Scott has been practicing law in the greater New York area since 1985. As a supervising attorney in a large criminal practice, Scott was responsible for handling and trying just about every kind of criminal case imaginable, and brought many of these cases to jury trials with successful verdicts. In one case, Scott was especially pleased not just to have won an acquittal for his client, but to have been told by the Judge, after the case was over, that "That was the best summation I ever heard." Scott has also taught law at the college level, and has been in charge of teaching other lawyers how to handle and try both criminal and civil cases. Scott is frequently consulted by other attorneys when they need help understanding complicated legal issues, or developing creative strategies. Scott P. Benjamin was educated at the State University of New York at Albany, and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University, and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York State Bar and the federal courts of the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York. Andreas ("Andrew") Vasilatos, Esq. There was no question that Andreas Vasilatos would open a law office in Astoria, Queens, so that he could serve the neighborhood in which he grew up. The son of Greek immigrants, he has a deep appreciation for the people of New York City, the unexpected difficulties and obstacles they face in trying to achieve the American Dream. That is why he strives to practice law in a way that places an emphasis on people. What this means to his clients is that they will always be able reach an attorney to speak to during business hours because "an attorney has many cases, but a client only has one". Andreas Vasilatos attended the Bronx High School of Science, New York University and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University. Andreas Vasilatos is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in the federal courts of the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, The New York Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, and the Hellenic Lawyers Association. BENJAMIN & VASILATOS,
